12/02/2024 Meeting and Progression (NX)

During our recent meeting, I presented my NX model (shown below) to Mehnaz, seeking her input on specific questions and clarifications. In addition to discussing the model, Mehnaz advised me to watch Plantsim tutorials (videos 1 to 6 and 15, of which I've already viewed 1 to 5) and explore Technomax videos on Siemens' website.

Last week, I have spent my time in arranging the three different stations (distribution, pick and place, and sorting) in a alignment. Following this, I proceeded to define rigid bodies, fixed joints, hinge joints, and sliding joints, which were to limit/aid the movement of components, depending on the component's functionality, to ensure the machine's proper functionality. With these foundational steps completed, my current objective is to integrate collision bodies, collision sensors, and motion into our conveyor system, so that I can start the coding phase.

I've sent my report to Mehnaz for feedback, and until I receive her response, my primary focus will be on advancing tasks related to NX and Tia Portal, particularly in preparation for the coding phase.
