As part of my modification plans on NX, in addition to the excess slide and the robotic arm, I have added a dismantling station to represent the one used in Plant Simulation. As shown in the figure below, the dismantling station consists of a base and two walls, with one of them moving to clamp the workpiece against the other wall. This technique, called clamping, provides stability to the workpiece, making it easier to pick up the lid from the top of the workpiece.

This addition does not only improve efficiency by making the lid removal process easier, but also contributes to improved quality by ensuring consistent positioning of workpieces. Moreover, the clamping technique enhances safety in the working environment by securely holding the workpiece during lid removal, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries. Additionally, by optimizing the lid removal process, the dismantling station may lead to cost savings through improved efficiency, reduced errors, and a simple process that doesn't cost a lot. Lastly, the addition of the dismantling station aligns with real-world manufacturing practices, depicting what happens in real-life manufacturing settings.

Below is a video showing the dismantling station and how it works:

Moreover, I have extended the lid slide to accommodate more lids at once, allowing the production line to run quicker and more efficiently. As shown in the figure below, this is the new extended lid slide that accommodates up to 11 lids, compared to 5 for the previous lid slide.
